Dia's extensive bookshop, a major resource for New York City's art community,
is now available online. With 3,000 titles focusing on postwar and contemporary
art and cultural history, http://www.diabooks.org offers its large selection of art
publications to the world wide web, including:

- texts on architecture, industrial design, and photography
- artist books

The site also includes updates on events and signings at Dia's bookshop at 548

Founded in 1974, Dia Art Foundation plays a vital and singular role among visual
arts institutions nationally and internationally by initiating, supporting, presenting,
and preserving art projects, and by serving as a primary locus for interdisciplinary
art and criticism. Dia presents a program of exhibitions at Dia Center for the Arts
in Chelsea, New York City.
